The purpose of this website is to ALERT Southern Maryland Moms, Dads, Grandma’s, Grandpa’s, Aunts and Uncles of the GRAPHIC, Teen-Only, sex-ed class being held at Lexington Park Library on Sunday, May 21st from 2-4pm and that there IS something you can do about it.

WHY are you all are BLOCKED from participating in this class targeting your 13 yr old-17 yr old children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews?

The instructor revealed to the Enterprise on April 14, the reason you’ve been BLOCKED: “because children might ask questions or see things their parents may not approve of,”

On May 18, she told the Baynet, “My talks are largely focused on……giving teens a safe space to ask questions without the watchful eye of parents,”

DO YOU KNOW the instructor is a self-described pole-dancer & sex geek and that she is a sex toy & lubricant peddler and advocates for the legalization of prostitution?

DO YOU KNOW she also served as a keynote speaker for “Slutwalk” 2013 where she promoted “The Garden,” a sex toy shop with which she is affiliated, where, according to her, “polyamorous leather dykes could hang out with kinky bisexuals and couples and compare notes with lifelong swingers, and still welcome those just beginning to explore their sexuality… We bring in experts to talk about blow jobs, threesomes, and rough sex?”

After public outcry cancelled the March class, the instructor performed a periscope video of the class on March 6th, dedicated to SOMD county citizens. In it, she states: “the anus is where fingers and penis’ potentially go in.” She admits “bunches” of lubrication will be distributed, and “highly recommends water-based lube for sex toys and anal play.”

In an April 17th blog post titled: “The Small Town Sex Ed Tour that Wasn’t,” the instructor confirmed the following:

I do advocate for the decriminalization of sex work, I do wear the title slut proudly. I talk about anal sex, porn [as entertainment] and lube because I believe in teaching young people to have agency over their bodies….I want young people to know that pornography is entertainment… I believe restricting access to information because it makes you uncomfortable isn’t fair to our young people

While Lexington Park Library(LPL) Director and Board of Trustees currently assert they “do not endorse this class, or support the views” of Ms. Palmisano, YOU NEED TO KNOW that this horrible event is not an accident! She was invited here by library officials who contacted this instructor and encouraged her to come and present this sexually explicit material to our children here!

In a March 2 interview with the St. mary’s County times, LPL Director, Michael Blackwell, admitted that “the idea to bring Palmisano in to teach the class came from the staff because ‘we had heard great things from other libraries’ where Palmisano had been featured.” In the same article, Library Board President, Carolyn Guy, said she believes “the community would probably appreciate the class.” County Commissioner, Todd Morgan, said: “This is not something that should be held in our libraries or public spaces.” (page 3) wholeheartedly agrees with Commissioner Todd Morgan—because as you will learn here on this website, the library simply cannot be trusted to facilitate this sensitive topic.

The purpose of this website is not to protest the lifestyle choices of the instructor, as some have wrongly asserted.

The purpose is to inform & warn you that YOUR library is using YOUR resources to facilitate an activity that is very, very harmful to developing young minds (see: “What is CSE?” tab),

and that there IS something you can do about it!

If you DON’T do all you can to stop your library from facilitating activities like this, then it won’t be long before your

library is facilitating things like THIS:
